Rema Kalenga is the largest natural forest after the Sundarbans in Bangladesh. A sanctuary for wild animals, this dry forest has been declared a reserve forest by the government. Though Rema and Kalenga are two different forests, they are closely connected. Besides the deep forest and wild animals, tourists will be greeted by Indigenous communities such as Tripura, Munda, and Oraw who have been living there for ages. A watch tower and a natural lake are the added attractions at Kalenga besides the grave of Bir Uttam Abdul Mannan, who embraced martyrdom while fighting in the Liberation War. Rema-Kalenga Reserve Forest is extremely popular with animal lovers as well. Anyone visiting this forest may encounter various species of apes, squirrels, deer, tigers, elephants, wild dogs, and pigs, besides a host of birds, including parrots, magpies, owls, kingfishers, eagles, and seagulls.

Shayestagonj to Chunarughat (Rema-Kalenga)
Drive Distance: 15 km | Drive Duration: 1 hours |
Early morning, reach Shayestagonj, complete Breakfast at a local restaurant, then go to Chunarughat. Check-in the resort, then enter the forest. First day of our target Rema-Kalenga Betban trail there we will see a flock of wild cock, Himalayan Katbirali, and Phayre's Leaf Monkey. After visiting Betban trail night stay at the resort if anyone brings tent they can tent there.

Early morning, after breakfast we visited two or three other trail then early afternoon went to Shayestagonj for the Dhaka bus. At 11.00 PM we are staying in Dhaka In Sha Allah
