Tour Itinerary Detail:
Day 01: (06 Oct) Dhaka-Burimari:
Start from Dhaka by AC bus (Bus Name Shemoly AC Bus/Pinki Paribahan)
Day 02: Burimari-Gangtok
Early in the morning, reach the Burimari border. After breakfast, start the procedure of Border. After finishing
border process, Start for Shiliguri by AC bus/Jeep. Lunch at Shiliguri.After lunch, we will start our journey for
Gangtok (5500 Ft /1677 Mts, 130 km / 04 to 05 Hrs) & give you a briefing about your tour. After leaving Siliguri
we drive along the NH 31A through the dense forests of Mahananda Wild Life Sanctuary, the natural playground
of wild elephants, tigers, and deer. From Tista Bazaar follows the winding roads then we will take (ILP)
Permission from rongpu check post for Sikkim. Then picturesque drive through the Himalayan hills to Gangtok,
the capital of Sikkim. Check into the hotel and get refreshed for a free leisure evening. (Recommend to roam in
MG road around the Mall to enjoy the typical Hill City life of Gangtok and enjoy a comfortable overnight stay
in a hotel.
Day 03: Gangtok Sight Seen
Gangtok Sightsaw ( Tashi Viewpoint, Hanuman Tak, Banjhakri Falls, Flower Exhibition Centre, MG marg, etc)
Day 04: Excursion Tsomgo Lake :
After breakfast drive for a memorable excursion tour to Tsomgo Lake (12,400 ft. /39 km), one of the highest
altitudes in Himalayan Lake. This beautiful oval shape lake almost 1 km long with an average depth of 50 ft is
situated in east Sikkim Himalaya. Here we can visit cabal car also. We will be back in Gangtok by late afternoon.
The evening is free for roaming around M.G Marg, the popular Shopping area in Gangtok.
Day 05: Gangtok to Lachen (120 kms./5 hrs./ Alt.- 8,500 ft.):
After an early breakfast, we will proceed to Lachen. The route meanders through small villages with valleys
up to the forest grove of Kabi Langchuk. Singh comes next with its promises of one of the most glorious views of
Kunchanjungha. Situated at an altitude of over 4000ft Singhik offers a desired break to travelers on the
way to Lachen. We will have our lunch on the way. Visit Chungthang- the confluence of Lachen Chu and
Lachen Chu (river) and Vimnala fall waterfalls on your way to Lachen. Reach Lachung in the late afternoon.
Day 06: Excursion to Yumthang - Gangtok (24 km./ Alt.- 11,800ft.):
Early morning drive to Yumthang Valley, an alpine flower valley in North Sikkim. Enjoy the scenic landscape
and hot Spring and drive further for 30kms to Yumesamdong (4725m / 15503ft) (and Zero Point: depends on
snowfall and permeation )close to the Tibet Border, one of the highest motorable roads in Sikkim Full day
excursion to Yumthang Valley. The valley is covered with snow from January to March. Lunch at the hotel in
Lachung. After the drive back to Gangtok, In the evening arrive at Gangtok and check into the hotel. Overnight at
hotel in Gangtok.
Day 07: Gangtok to Burimari (135 km. / 4.30 hrs.):
After breakfast drives back to Siliguri via the same route for your onward journey with happy memories.
Lunch at Shiliguri. After lunch, journey to Chengrabandha border from Shiliguri.
After Border crossing, journey to Dhaka by bus. Dinner at Highway restaurant.
Day 00:
Reach Dhaka at 7:00 A.M (Approximate).
Things to Carry:
(1) PP Size Picture + Passport and Visa Photocopy (8 copies each)
(2) Winter clothes
(3) Hat / Cap for Sun protection.
(4) Sun-burn lotion
(5) Binoculars
(6) Camera
(7) Towels
(8) Emergency medicine.
