Overview

Old Dhaka Day Trip with TGB

Discover 400 years of history in a single morning on our Half Day Old Dhaka Trip.

Founded by the Mughals on the banks of the Buriganga River, Old Dhaka was once one of South Asia's richest cities and the home of the world-famous Muslin trade. Today it's a lively maze of Mughal forts, colonial palaces, centuries-old mosques, temples and churches, bustling bazaars, and legendary street food.

With an expert local guide, you'll explore landmarks like Lalbagh Fort, Ahsan Manzil (the Pink Palace), Star Mosque, and the Armenian Church. You'll also take a traditional wooden boat ride on the Buriganga River at Sadarghat and walk through the historic Hindu Street. Along the way you'll meet the locals and see the real everyday life of the city.

Choose from two plans and enjoy hassle-free hotel pick-up, an air-conditioned vehicle, and stories you won't find in any guidebook. It's the perfect introduction to the soul of Dhaka.
